It’s not shame for Stonebwoy to do show and use curtains to cover the space - Shatta Wale
Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has defended fellow musician Stonebwoy against criticism over the setup of one of his shows, saying there is nothing shameful about using curtains to cover a space during an event.
Speaking during a live TikTok session, Shatta Wale said artistes should not feel pressured to prove themselves by trying to replicate the scale or achievements of others.
According to him, every artiste has different resources and circumstances, and the most important thing is to do what one can within their ability.
“It’s not a shame for Stonebwoy to do a show and use curtains to cover a space. He did the part he can do to his ability,” Shatta Wale said.
He further explained that there is no requirement for an artiste to always match what other musicians have done simply to demonstrate their status or credibility.
Shatta Wale urged artistes to focus on making the most of the opportunities and resources available to them instead of competing over appearances.
