AJ Poundz Stuns at Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, Wins ‘Best Dressed’ Honour
Ghanaian television personality Matilda Adjoa Densu, popularly known as AJ Poundz, has been crowned Best Dressed at the 2025 edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, receiving her prize at the official launch event in Accra last Saturday.
For clinching the fashion accolade, AJ Poundz earned a luxurious stay at Aqua Safari Resort along with the coveted bragging rights as the night’s most stylish personality.
Expressing her appreciation after receiving the honour, AJ Poundz thanked the organisers for recognising her work and presence in the entertainment space.
The launch ceremony brought together DJs, entertainment industry stakeholders, sponsors, media personalities and music lovers to officially kick off the 2026 campaign, unveiling the calendar of activities ahead of the grand awards night later this year.
AJ Poundz first gained national attention in 2011 when she represented the Eastern Region in TV3’s cultural and beauty pageant, Ghana’s Most Beautiful. She later won Best Student Media Personality of the Year at the Ghana Social Media and Creative Arts Awards in 2020.
Over the years, she has built a solid reputation in Ghana’s entertainment industry through consistency and versatility, with her shows ranking among the most‑watched on television.
The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards is expected to return later this year, with nationwide activities scheduled ahead of the main event.
