I can’t marry a poor man – Businesswoman
Kumasi-based businesswoman RoseGold born Nana Ama Prempeh-Sikani Kaakyire has stated categorically that she would not consider marrying a financially unstable man, arguing that both partners should be able to contribute meaningfully to building a successful home.
Speaking on Angel FM, Kumasi, Rosegold said while she is financially independent and has established herself, she expects any man she marries to also be hardworking, ambitious and financially stable.
“Marrying a poor guy is never an option,” she said.
According to her, a man should possess qualities that reflect responsibility and the ability to provide, adding that financial stability is an important consideration in choosing a life partner.
“The man should be potent. The man should come with manly features. Since I am independent and have something going for myself, the man should also be well-doing,” she stated.
Rosegold stressed that poverty places unnecessary strain on relationships and encouraged men to work hard to improve their circumstances before settling down.
