'As a man, if you don't know how to cook don't marry' – Mr. Happiness advises men
Ghanaian actor and comedian Kofi Gharbin, popularly known as Mr. Happiness, has sparked conversation on social media after urging men to learn how to cook before getting married.
Speaking during an interview on Hitz FM with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, the entertainer stressed that cooking is an essential life skill that should not be left solely to women.
"As a man, if you don't know how to cook, don't marry," Kofi Gharbin stated.
According to him, marriage is a partnership where both spouses should be able to support each other in all aspects of life, including household responsibilities.
He argued that a man should not depend entirely on his wife for meals, as there may be times when she is unavailable, unwell, or simply needs a break.
Kofi Gharbin noted that learning to cook promotes independence and strengthens relationships by encouraging couples to share responsibilities rather than placing the burden on one partner.
