Kwesi Arthur Opens Up About Health Battle, Postpones North American Tour

Kwesi Arthur has postponed the North American leg of his Redemption Valley tour, citing a health condition that requires him to take time off the road.

The Ghanaian rapper and singer announced the decision in an emotional message to fans, explaining that doctors had warned him that continuing with the tour could endanger his health.

He revealed that although he had hoped to push through with the scheduled shows, medical advice made it clear that he needed to prioritise recovery.

“For a while now, I’ve been dealing with a health issue, and despite my best efforts, my doctors have told me that moving forward with the tour right now would be reckless and dangerous to my health,” he wrote.

The postponement affects shows in Boston, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. However, Kwesi Arthur assured fans that his London concert will proceed as planned, saying he is eager to perform there.

Calling the decision a difficult one, he stressed that he wants to return to the stage only when he is fully fit and able to deliver the experience fans deserve.

“This wasn’t easy, but I owe it to you, and to myself, to come back and give you the show you deserve, at full strength,” he added.

Kwesi Arthur confirmed that new dates for the affected North American shows are being arranged. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled concerts, and refund information will be provided for fans unable to attend.

He ended his message by thanking supporters for their patience and encouragement, promising to return stronger once he has fully recovered.
