After years of unwavering persistence and creative ambition, Ego Reach We All (Our Time Will Come) — formerly titled Vagabonds — has officially been selected to premiere at the 79th Locarno Film Festival, marking a major breakthrough for Ghanaian filmmaking on the global stage.
Directed and written by Amartei Armar and produced by Yemoh Ike, the feature stands as a landmark achievement. Shot entirely in Ghana with a fully local crew and completed in France during post‑production, the film embodies a seamless Ghana‑to‑global collaboration.

The project’s rise began with its short-film version, released in 2018, which won at the Montreal World Film Festival, an Oscar‑qualifying event. Since then, Ego Reach We All has amassed an impressive list of international honours:
