Ghana Stars Shine as AFRIMMA 2026 Unveils Power‑Packed Nominee List
Several Ghanaian entertainers have earned spots on the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) shortlist, with Big A Entertainment confirming the ceremony for September 12 in Dallas, Texas.
Ghana’s dance heavyweights Incredible Zigi, Dancegod Lloyd, and Hooliboy all secured nominations for Best African Dance, while Babs clinched a nod for Best Video Director of the Year.
In the music categories, DJ Sly King was nominated for Best DJ Africa, Black Sherif for Best Male Rap Act, and MOGBeatz for Best Producer of the Year. The prestigious AFRIMMA Timeless Impact Award features Sarkodie among the nominees, with DopeNation grabbing a spot in Best African Group.
Ghana’s female talents also made a strong showing:

- Moliy & Shaneil Muir – Best Female Reggae/Dancehall
- Freda Rhymz & Eno Barony – Best Female Rap Artiste
