Daughters Of Glorious Jesus says sisterhood kept them together for 37years
Veteran gospel music duo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus has credited their long-lasting success to the strong bond they share, saying they see themselves as sisters rather than just musical partners.
Speaking on Hitz FM's Hitz Praise Zone, the award-winning trio said the idea of breaking up or pursuing solo careers has never crossed their minds.
According to the group, their music ministry was established for a shared purpose, and they believe God called them to work together instead of individually.
They explained that they have always respected one another's talents and have never allowed rivalry or competition to affect their relationship.
The trio said each member plays her role while appreciating the strengths of the others, a principle they believe has helped them remain united over the years.
They added that love, unity, and selflessness have been the foundation of the group since its formation and have enabled it to remain relevant despite changes in the gospel music industry.
Formed in 1989, Daughters of Glorious Jesus is made up of Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong and Monica Owusu Ansah.
Reflecting on their journey, the group said their greatest achievement is not only the music they have produced but also the fact that they have remained together for 37 years while continuing to inspire generations of gospel music lovers.
