My schoolmates never expected me to become an actor — Majid Michel
Ghanaian actor Majid Michel has revealed that his former classmates were surprised when he ventured into acting because of his quiet nature during his school days.
The award-winning actor said he was a reserved student who rarely participated in activities outside his immediate circle of friends, making his transition into the entertainment industry unexpected.
Majid Michel said this during an interview on Accra-based TV3 on Thursday, July 9, when reflecting on his childhood, education and acting career.
“I was very quiet. I didn’t cause trouble. I was always by myself. I was always inside my head," the award-winning entertainer stated.
The actor said he was not the type of student who sought attention or frequently spoke in class.
He explained that he was focused on his studies and personal life and only interacted with his close friends during his time in school.
