Osebo drops explosive allegations against Kwadwo Safo Akofena after Adwoa Safo shooting incident

Ghanaian fashion figure Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has levelled serious allegations against Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena following a reported shooting incident involving former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo.

In a video circulating on social media on June 21, 2026, Osebo accused Akofena of turning against his own family and creating divisions within the Kristo Asafo Mission after the death of its founder, Apostle Kwadwo Safo. He alleged that Akofena’s actions not only caused distress to their late father but have now escalated into threats against his siblings.

Osebo claimed that Akofena failed to honour the legacy of their father by sidelining individuals who were entrusted with key responsibilities in the religious movement. According to him, those loyal to the late founder have been replaced with persons he described as untrustworthy, deepening tensions within the organisation.

The outspoken fashion icon also questioned Akofena’s public image, suggesting that his portrayal on social media does not reflect his true character. He went as far as accusing him of hypocrisy, insisting that many insiders within the Kristo Asafo Mission are aware of his alleged conduct.

“These actions will not remain hidden forever,” Osebo stated, adding that the truth about the ongoing disputes would eventually come to light.

His comments come in the wake of reports that Sarah Adwoa Safo sustained injuries during a shooting incident at a family property on the same day. The incident is said to have occurred amid heightened tensions linked to a leadership succession struggle within the Kristo Asafo movement.

While details surrounding the shooting remain unclear, sources indicate that the situation unfolded during a gathering connected to efforts to install a successor to the late founder. The development has intensified public interest in the internal disputes within the influential religious group.

As of now, Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena has not publicly responded to the allegations. The matter continues to generate widespread debate, with many calling for clarity and restraint as investigations into the incident proceed.
