Van Vicker earns first-class law degree from Wisconsin International University College

African celebrated actor Van Vicker has successfully graduated from Wisconsin International University College with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB), marking a significant academic milestone alongside his established entertainment career.

In an interview, Vicker described the institution as “a second home” where he balanced academic work with family life and professional commitments. He said his decision to study law was driven by a long-standing passion for justice and a desire to inspire his children, fans, and the public by demonstrating that education remains a lifelong pursuit.

Reflecting on his academic journey, the actor highlighted the intensity of combining lectures, work, and family responsibilities. He noted that the experience strengthened his discipline, resilience, and time management skills.

Vicker clarified that earning an LLB does not automatically qualify him as a practicing lawyer. He explained that he must still complete professional legal training, including the pre-bar course and bar examinations, before he can officially enter legal practice.

The actor revealed a strong interest in constitutional, family, and company law, areas he believes have direct impact on society and everyday life. He also acknowledged the challenges he faced during his studies, crediting his success to discipline and the support of his family.

Looking ahead, Vicker plans to pursue further legal training while continuing his work in the entertainment industry. He also expressed his intention to use his platform to advocate for justice and encourage others to pursue their ambitions regardless of life’s demands.

He concluded with a message to fellow graduates and aspiring lawyers, emphasizing perseverance and courage, and reminding them that setbacks are part of the learning journey.
