Miss Ghana @69 Auditions Begin June 27
The search for the next queen of Ghana’s most prestigious beauty pageant begins on Saturday, June 27, 2026, as auditions open for the 69th edition of Miss Ghana.
The audition, scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Oak Plaza Hotel, is expected to attract young women from across the country eager to represent their regions and compete for the coveted national crown.
Organised by Exclusive Events Ghana, the Miss Ghana pageant continues its mission of discovering young women who embody beauty, intelligence, leadership, discipline, and a strong commitment to community service. The eventual winner will represent Ghana at the Miss World pageant and lead humanitarian projects under the Miss Ghana Foundation.
This year’s edition is themed “Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy,” marking nearly seven decades of promoting purpose-driven leadership, cultural pride, and female empowerment.
Prospective contestants must be between 18 and 26 years old and demonstrate confidence, moral integrity, community-mindedness, and the ability to serve as ambassadors for Ghana locally and internationally.
Candidates will be assessed on communication skills, confidence, creativity, and overall personality. Aspiring queens will also showcase their talents — from singing and dancing to spoken word, rap, and other creative expressions — while engaging judges on national development issues.
Ahead of the auditions, Inna Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, highlighted the pageant’s longstanding impact.
“For nearly seven decades, Miss Ghana has empowered young women to inspire change, celebrate culture, and represent the pride of Ghana to the world. Now, a new chapter begins. The countdown to Miss Ghana @69 is on,” she said.
