“If God has ordained your relocation, then leave the church building and go” — Mzbel fires at Prophet Badu Kobi

Mzbel and Prophet Badu Kobi

Ghanaian singer and media personality Mzbel has weighed into the ongoing discussions surrounding reports that Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi is considering selling his church property over financial challenges.

Speaking during an appearance on the entertainment programme United Showbiz, Mzbel expressed disappointment over the situation, describing it as both disheartening and embarrassing.

According to the singer, it is unfortunate that a church building is reportedly being put up for sale to the extent that even a fetish priest is said to have shown interest in purchasing the property.

“It is disheartening and disgraceful for a church to be sold under such circumstances,” she stated during the discussion.

Mzbel further argued that if Prophet Badu Kobi genuinely believes God has ordained him to relocate or move on from the church premises, then he should simply leave the building rather than attempt to sell it.

She insisted that spiritual matters should not be reduced to financial transactions, especially when the church is viewed by many believers as a sacred place of worship.

“She shouldn’t sell the church. He should leave the church and go if that is what God wants,” she added.
