Kwaku Bonsam Warns Pastors: “Buy Badu Kobi’s Church or I’ll Turn It Into a Shrine”

Traditional priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has issued a dramatic warning to Ghanaian pastors following reports that Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi is preparing to sell his church building due to financial challenges.

According to reports, the founder of Glorious Wave Church International is facing mounting debts and is offloading some of his properties to settle them. Prophet Badu Kobi has also hinted at relocating his church from Sakumono, though earlier claims suggested the move was driven by financial strain.

Reacting to the development, Kwaku Bonsam said Christian leaders must step in to preserve the building for church use. If they fail to do so, he vowed to purchase the property himself and convert it into a national shrine.

“I, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, have come here personally to inspect the building,” he said in a video while touring the premises. “If you are a pastor and you fail to buy this edifice to use as a church, then I will buy it and convert it into a fetish school. It is a huge structure with everything inside, including a jacuzzi in the bathroom where I can even relax.”

His comments have sparked debate across social media, with many questioning how the situation reached this point and what it means for Prophet Badu Kobi’s ministry.
