Anthonio Ghattie Shines at ReachArts Network CIC Launch with “Joseph; Pit to Palace”

The creative landscape in the UK witnessed a compelling blend of storytelling, culture, and emerging talent on Wednesday, 29th April 2026, as ReachArts Network CIC officially launched with a powerful live multidisciplinary theatre production titled Joseph; Pit to Palace. The event, which drew a diverse audience of creatives, community leaders, and arts enthusiasts, marked not only the birth of a new creative platform but also the unveiling of promising talents working behind and on stage.

Among those who stood out was Anthonio Ghattie, whose dual contribution as the production manager and cast member (playing the role of a Guard) proved instrumental to the overall success of the production.

Working behind the scenes, Ghattie played a critical role in assembling the cast, largely made up of students who have expressed interest in the creative economy, demonstrating both leadership and a keen eye for emerging talent. His ability to mobilise, coordinate, and support a youthful and dynamic group of performers ensured a cohesive and compelling stage delivery. In an industry where talent development is as vital as performance, his contribution reflects a growing capacity for creative leadership and mentorship.

On stage, his portrayal of the Guard added depth and realism to the production, moving between comedy and intensity. Though in a supporting role, Ghattie executed it with precision, contributing meaningfully to the storytelling and stage dynamics that brought Joseph: Pit to Palace to life.

Speaking after the event, Ghattie reflected on his involvement and future aspirations:

“This project was about contributing to something bigger than myself. Seeing this story come alive with such talented young people was incredibly rewarding. I’m committed to supporting the creation of global platforms where African culture and stories are told authentically.”

His vision aligns strongly with the broader mission of ReachArts Network CIC, which is to amplify underrepresented voices and provide platforms for culturally rich narratives. As the global creative industry continues to seek diverse and authentic stories, talents like Ghattie represent a new wave of cultural ambassadors bridging heritage and contemporary expression.

Carl Dovi, founder and creative executive director of ReachArts Network CIC, praised Ghattie’s contributions, stating, "Working with Ghattie on this production has been fun and impactful. His artistry and commitment to cultural identity and grassroots talent development prove that the future of UK storytelling is in great hands."

As ReachArts Network CIC begins its journey, it does so on a strong foundation, powered by passion, purpose, and individuals committed to shaping the narrative of tomorrow.
