'I was just showering one day and got the melody, i recorded it - Lasmid' Shares his music journey
Ghanaian singer-songwriter Lasmid has shared the story behind his creative process, revealing that inspiration can strike at any moment.
In a recent interview on Hitz FM with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, he recounted how a shower moment led to the creation of one of his melodies.
Lasmid explained that he was bathing when a melody suddenly flowed, and he quickly grabbed his phone to record it.
"I was just showering one day and got the melody, so I put my phone on the sink to record it," he said.
This spontaneous moment showcases Lasmid's ability to capture ideas as they come, highlighting his dedication to his craft.
According to Lasmid, his creative process is unique. He doesn't write lyrics before entering the studio; instead, he vibes with the beat and lets the melody guide the song.
"I don't write before going to the studio. I listen to the beat, get into the mood, and the melodies just start coming. The lyrics follow afterward," he explained.
