‘Maestro Kojo Antwi’s music is more valuable than gold’ – Blakk Rasta

Maverick reggae musician and radio presenter Abubakar Ahmed, popularly known as Blakk Rasta, has called on Ghanaians to celebrate the achievements of legendary musician Kojo Antwi, describing him as one of Africa’s greatest musical icons.

Speaking on his Blakk Empire Media YouTube Channel, Blakk Rasta praised Kojo Antwi for his exceptional talent, creativity, and enduring contribution to Ghana’s music industry.

“There is a Ghanaian musician that everybody knows. He is the Music Man — the Maestro, Kojo Antwi. His music is so qualitative that it is more valuable than gold. His voice is so crisp, and he knows music like a little child knows her alphabet. This man must be celebrated,” Blakk Rasta said.

He emphasized that Kojo Antwi’s success on the African continent should serve as an inspiration for younger generations of musicians, urging Ghanaians to give him his due recognition while he is still alive.

Blakk Rasta also revealed that he has collaborated with Kojo Antwi on a new project, which will be released soon.

“My brother, my sister, I have a record with Kojo Antwi, and that record will be coming out soon. He blessed me with a voice I will never forget — a verse that will resonate with me forever,” he disclosed.

Blakk Rasta, known for his outspoken nature and reggae hits such as Barack Obama, continues to use his platform to promote African excellence and celebrate Ghanaian legends who have made significant contributions to music and culture.
