Kofi Kinaata

Ghanaian artiste Kofi Kinaata has shed light on his shift from rapping to singing, citing commercial viability as a key factor.

In a recent interview on Starr FM, Kinaata explained that rap was his primary class when he started his music career. However, as he grew and experimented with new sounds, he began to incorporate singing into his music.

Kinaata revealed that even during his rap days, he would often sing in his mind, but chose not to because he had branded himself as "The Fante Rap God."

He has since come to realize that music is an art, and as an artist, one cannot limit oneself to a single class.

According to Kinaata, singing offers more commercial opportunities, which is why he has focused on it in recent times. This shift has likely contributed to his continued success and growth in the music industry.

By adapting to changing trends and exploring different classs, Kinaata has demonstrated his versatility and dedication to his craft.
