P-Square Split: Mr P reveals why they went their separate ways

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, has finally addressed the split of the popular P-Square duo with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy.

In a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, Mr P revealed that despite their efforts, the duo format wasn't working out.

"We tried, but it's not working," Mr P stated, emphasizing the need for fans to respect their decision to pursue solo careers.

He highlighted the joy that comes with going solo, which seems to be the driving force behind their split.

This isn't the first time P-Square has gone their separate ways. The group initially split in 2016 but reunited in 2021. However, it seems their reunion was short-lived, as Paul confirmed in August last year that they had broken up again.

Mr P is urging fans to respect their decision and support their individual endeavors. With their split, both Mr P and Rudeboy are expected to focus on their solo music careers, potentially bringing new and exciting music to their fans.
