'After my first heartbreak at age 6, I became toxic' – Ruger

Nigerian Singer, Ruger

Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known by his stage name Ruger, is a Nigerian singer who has described how his first heartbreak at a young age traumatised him.

The "Toma Toma" singer revealed that when he was six years old, an older woman always called him my 'boyfriend'.

According to him, he became fond of it and began to accept the woman as his girlfriend.

He indicated that he one day peeped through the woman's window and saw a man having a marathon sex with his supposed 'girlfriend'.

He said the sight of it broke his heart for the first time at age 6.

Ruger claimed that the encounter traumatised him and made him poisonous as a child in a recent episode of 'The Bro Bants' show.

He said, “The last time that I experienced heartbreak, I was very, very young. There was this aunty that I liked, she used to call me ‘my boyfriend.’ So, I assumed that she was my woman. I was just 6 years old. I got heartbroken because one day, I saw some guy smashing her through her window. The guy was tearing her up, bro. I cried. I was traumatized. I started singing ‘Imagine That’ by Styl-Plus. That was what started my toxicity. That experience broke my heart.”
