I want to retire and go into farming at age 50 — Nana Ama McBrown

Ghanaian actress and television personality Nana Ama McBrown has revealed her plans to venture into full-time farming.

According to her, she intends to retire from the movie industry and active participation in the media scene by the age of 50.

Speaking on the Diva Doc Let’s Talk podcast, McBrown disclosed that she has already begun farming.

“At age 50, I want to slow down on these appearances and all that. I want to go into farming. I have started now,” she said.

Born Felicity Ama Agyemang, McBrown rose to prominence for her role in the television series Tentacles and later gained mainstream success with her performances in the Twi-language films Asoreba and Kumasi Yonko.

She previously hosted The McBrown Kitchen cooking show and the entertainment talk show United Showbiz on UTV until March 2023, when she moved to Media General.

She is currently the host of Onua Showtime on Onua TV.
