Actor C Confion reportedly battling undisclosed illness at KATH
Bright Owusu, popularly known in the entertainment industry as C Confion and a prominent actor in skits with Dr. Likee, is currently undergoing medical treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, December 18, the management team of C Confion, led by Akabenezer Production, assured the public that the actor is receiving the necessary care and support.
“We would like to inform the public that our artist, Bright Owusu popularly known as C Confion, is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital,” the statement read. “The Akabenezer team and the family are providing him with the utmost care and ensuring all his needs are met during this critical moment.”
Call for public support
The management team also appealed for prayers and support from fans, the media, and the general public.
They cautioned against the circulation of unverified information about the actor’s condition.
“We kindly ask for your support through prayers for his swift recovery and request that the media and the general public refrain from any form of speculation or unverified reportage,” the statement added.
C Confion has been a key figure in Ghana’s burgeoning skit industry, where he has garnered a significant following for his comedic roles alongside Dr. Likee.
