I knew it was God’s plan for my life but I was unhappy to leave — Afronita after exiting DWP academy

Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, popularly known as Afronita, has opened up about her departure from Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy, expressing mixed emotions about her exit but acknowledging it as God's plan for her life.

In an interview on Joy Prime, Afronita reflected on the tough decision to part ways with DWP, emphasizing her belief in God's guidance and direction for her journey.

Despite feeling unhappy about leaving the dance group, she recognized that it was necessary for her to pursue other endeavors and explore further opportunities.

"Obviously, I wasn’t happy, but I’m someone who believes in God and His directions. So, I knew that it was God’s plan for my life. Even if I wasn’t happy, I had to accept it whether I liked it or not," Afronita shared during the interview.

Earlier this year, Afronitaa officially announced her departure from DWP to embark on her solo dance career.

The decision was confirmed by DWP in a press statement, which expressed both sadness at her departure and support for her future endeavors.

"We are happy to announce that our dear Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah (Afronitaa) has moved on as a brand on her own. It was a tough decision to let Afronitaa go, but her move is in line with the mission of Dance With A Purpose (DWP) Academy; to build brands out of all the young and gifted personalities that join the family," the statement read.

Since leaving DWP, Afronita has wasted no time in pursuing new opportunities.

Alongside Abigail of TV3 Talented Kids fame, she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, impressing the judges with their exceptional dancing skills and passing the audition.

Currently, Afronita is focused on the opening of her own dance academy for children, named Afrostar Kids Academy, scheduled for launch on April 14.

She encourage parents interested in enrolling their children to seize the opportunity for them to be nurtured and develop their talents.
