Controversial musician Shatta Wale has spoken in support of actress and television presenter Nana Ama McBrown's move from UTV to Media General’s Onua TV.

He alleged that the station was pushing the former staff against her will in many ways.

Shatta Wale had previously made comments about McBrown's posture on the show on UTV several times but received backlash.

But in a new Facebook live video, the “Kakai” hitmaker defended his comments, saying, "When I spoke, everybody was complaining, but you see problem dey there."

Shatta Wale went on to express his support for McBrown and commended her for ditching UTV, saying, "Nana Ama McBrown, you did very well by leaving UTV for Media General. That's what I wanted. Find your path."

A month ago, the Ghanaian media space was flooded with controversies surrounding the media personality’s move to her current employer.

Some of her colleagues at UTV she was ungrateful to the platform that pushed her to the limelight in the media space.

On the brighter side of it all, she was given an unprecedented welcome ceremony at Onua TV, where she is set to continue her career.
