Mother-in-law of Doctar Cann reveals his last words before dying
Shortly after his demise, the mother-in-law of deceased radio presenter Doctar Cann has revealed what he spoke to her minutes before he passed away.
The ace broadcaster who worked with Accra-based radio station Happy FM passed on in a private health facility on Friday, March 25, 2022, after a short illness.
In an interview on Peace FM on Saturday, Mrs. Aboagye disclosed that her son-in-law returned home late after work on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
She stated that they had a brief discussion with him after which he walked straight into his bedroom.
Mrs. Aboagye added that the broadcaster looked okay on Wednesday but was suddenly looking sick and could hardly speak clearly on Thursday morning.
“I noticed the change in the way he was talking because he did, the words were not coming clearly so I asked that they quickly rush him to the hospital. Upon reaching the facility, they examined him and said he was okay but they said they will further admit him the following day,” she told the host of Entertainment Review, Kwasi Aboagye.
She went on to narrate that while standing by the deceased with his mother on Friday, he managed to mumble the words “Auntie bibiara nye dzen mma Awurade” which literally means ‘nothing is too hard for the Lord’.
“He died minutes after he made these statements,” she added.
Speaking on what was the cause of Doctar Cann’s eventual death; Mrs. Aboagye stated that the doctor had asked for a test to be run on him but he, unfortunately, passed on before the release of the results which was due on Monday, March 28, 2022.
Doctor Cann who was the host of Happy FM’s weekend entertainment show, ‘Showbiz Xtra’, left behind his widow, Mrs. Dorcas Cann with whom they had four children; three boys and an 8-month-old baby girl.
