QUABENA MAPHIA ADVOCATES COMMUNITY STUDIOS
Sensational hiplife artist Nana Kwabena Poku Afriyie popularly known as Quabena Maphia is urging the leadership of the Musicians' Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to build recording studios in every community in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Focus fm's Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific) on the 'Focus Citi Show', a weekend entertainment programme, Quabena said he believes in unearthing underground talents.
The smooth silky voiced musician noted financial issues as a problem to these 'young' talents who find it difficult to go and record in most professional studios.
According to Quabena, there are lots of talents struggling to succeed and this gesture he believes will take the music industry to another level.
