Christiana Love To Launch 'No Fears' Album
After about nearly a year away from the limelight, gospel singer is back with a big bang and waving a new 11-track album called No Fears.
The popular gospel lady was recently well received at the Adom Praiz 2010 and the MTN Gospel Praise with Kwaku Gyasi and Friends concerts but has turned her attention now to promoting her No Fears album which will be officially launched from 2.00pm on Sunday, November 28 at the Alive Chapel at Tesano in Accra.
The album was recorded by George Forest and Dan Bassey and all the tracks were written by Christiana’s husband, Pastor Love Hammond who was also the Executive Producer.
The singer’s rise to fame started in Kumasi when she was spotted by the popular songwriter, composer and singer, Osuani Afrifa, who had visited a church where she was singing. He helped her produce her first album which contained the hit song, Mete Ase.
Some of her very popular songs after that have been Moving Forward and Mesu Afre Me Nyame. She represented Ghana at the All Africa Gospel Music Festival held in Benin a few years back.
Christiana has won several awards including a national honour confered on her by former President, John Kuffour.
“I have released No Fears to encourage Christians to stand firm in the face of adversities and keep trusting in Jesus Christ because He is our anchor in times of distress,” Christiana affirms.
A mother of three, the gospel singer says her ambition in the near future is to start a music school where young talents would be tutored in various aspects of professional musicianship.
