Caroline Wins Best Presenter Award
, a young Ghanaian presenter, won the Best Presenter award at the just-ended Star Integration of Culture of Africa (SICA), held in Benin.
FIFTEEN selected countries, including Ghana, participated in this year's event which kicked off on November 17 and ended on November 21.
SICA is a week-long cultural festival held annually in Benin, and brings together Africans to display their various cultures through trade, fashion, music among others.
Ms. Sampson and King David, a hip life artiste, represented Ghana and competed for the two top awards; Best Presenter and Best Artiste awards respectively.
Ghana won the Best Presenter of the year award, while Burundi grabbed the Best Artiste award.
Some of the artistes who performed at the festival include Barima Sidney, Elivava, Sherifa Gunu, Abeiku Santana, amongst others.
Ghana's high life legend, Amandzeba was one of the judges for the event.
The event attracted important personalities like the advisor to the Benin President, Ministers of the Benin State, representatives from a number of organisations, musicians, journalists from some of the African countries, and a host of others.
