Industry leaders to address Africa port, logistics & supply chain challenges
The inefficiencies in the African ports/shipping and logistics supply chain has resulted in low levels of productivity, severely compromising competitiveness and siphoning off revenues.
Against this background, the industry will be coming together at the All Africa Ports, Logistics & Supply Chain Summit in Accra from 2-3 December 2009, to address critical measures to overcome stress on Ports infrastructure & how to gear up for economic recovery & sectoral growth. The importance of private sector in acting as an engine for port growth, modernization and productivity will be addressed. Innovations & best practices in supply chain will also be deliberated upon.
The distinguished speaker panel includes Ports Authorities from Ghana, Antwerp, Seychelles, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Nigeria & Liberia as well as private sector participants.
This Summit is organized by Singapore-based Magenta Global, in collaboration with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, with the support of the Association of Ghana Industries and Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ghana Maritime Authority, Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority & Ghana Shippers' Council
