Stephen Darko-Odame Launches Bid for NPP Asuogyaman Parliamentary Seat with 'New Energy, Youth Empowerment' Agenda

Aspiring parliamentary candidate Stephen Darko‑Odame, widely known as K.Dame, has formally announced his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in the Asuogyaman Constituency, pledging a fresh, forward‑looking leadership agenda for the area.

Addressing supporters at a media briefing, K.Dame outlined a campaign anchored on four development pillars he believes are crucial to transforming Asuogyaman:

Speaking to FOKA Daily News, K.Dame stressed that Asuogyaman needs “fresh leadership to unlock opportunities for young people and drive infrastructure growth.”

His entry adds momentum to an already competitive race, as multiple aspirants position themselves to represent the constituency in the next general elections. Asuogyaman, a strategic seat in the Eastern Region, continues to draw voter attention around development, jobs, and youth inclusion.

With the NPP gearing up for its internal elections, the spotlight now shifts to how candidates like K.Dame will connect with delegates and constituents at the grassroots.
