Aspiring parliamentary candidate Stephen Darko‑Odame, widely known as K.Dame, has formally announced his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in the Asuogyaman Constituency, pledging a fresh, forward‑looking leadership agenda for the area.

Addressing supporters at a media briefing, K.Dame outlined a campaign anchored on four development pillars he believes are crucial to transforming Asuogyaman:

• Youth Empowerment — Building platforms that allow young people to lead, innovate, and actively participate in governance and business.
• Job Creation & Skills Development — Partnering with government and private sector actors to equip constituents with employable skills and entrepreneurial support.
• Better Roads & Infrastructure — Championing improved road networks and essential amenities to enhance trade, mobility, and connectivity across the constituency.
• Sustainable Development — Promoting environmentally responsible projects that deliver long‑term economic value, especially for communities along the Volta Lake.

Speaking to FOKA Daily News, K.Dame stressed that Asuogyaman needs “fresh leadership to unlock opportunities for young people and drive infrastructure growth.”
