Polls close in Iranian parliamentary election

Votes are being counted in Iran's parliamentary elections. Because thousands of moderate and reformist candidates were barred from running, the results are expected to change the face of the country's legislature. The expected boost to the conservatives could affect Iran's policies towards the region and the United States, which has placed a series of sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
