Catalan leaders trial: A dark day for fundamental rights

Pro-independence Catalans took to the streets on Monday after Spain's Supreme Court sentenced nine separatist leaders to lengthy prison sentences for sedition over their roles in the failed push for independence two years ago. International arbitration lawyer Eduard Salsas says the ruling will restrict the freedom of political association in Spain.
