Yemen’s ports and airports under threat as fighting disrupts food and medicine supplies

The escalation of violence in Yemen is threatening supplies of food and medicine.

Fighting has resumed between the internationally recognised government and the Ansarullah Houthis.

The group is allied with Iran, while Saudi Arabia backs the government.

The tit-for-tat strikes between the two sides have affected operations at a Red Sea port and at the international airport in the capital.
