Oxygen runs out as Gaza hospital struggles to keep patients alive | DW News

Health officials at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah are warning of a worsening medical oxygen shortage that they say could have a significant impact on patients across Gaza, particularly premature babies in neonatal units and critically ill patients in intensive care. Hospital officials say only 12 of the territory's 35 oxygen production facilities remain operational, with many damaged during the war and others running below capacity due to a lack of spare parts.
