Despite GoldBod CEO Sammi Gyamfi's rejection of claims linking the institution to the reported $1.7 billion loss, NPP member Kwadwo Nsafoah Poku maintains that decisions taken under Ghana's gold purchase programme contributed to the losses.
Speaking on The Big Issue, Mr Poku pointed to the exchange-rate system used under the programme, arguing that it contributed to losses recorded on the Bank of Ghana's books.
