The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially closed the period for picking nomination forms for its upcoming national-level elections.
Nominations opened on August 19 and closed on August 22, with Channel One News sources within the party's Elections Committee indicating that 50 aspirants picked nomination forms at the close of the exercise.
The development sets the stage for the next phase of the NPP's national executive election process.
