Ukraine strikes deep inside Russia as Putin warns of a 'Pandora’s box' | DW News

Russian President Vladimir Putin says Ukraine has opened a "Pandora's box" by hitting economic targets in Russia. It comes after Ukraine says it hit the warehouse of a Russian online retailer and an oil refinery overnight. The refinery is in the Samara region some 1,000 kilometers from the front line. This, after Russia's double-tap drone strike on a shopping center in Ukraine that killed 16 people on Friday. Several others are still missing. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the strikes "cynical and despicable". The attack comes as Germany's foreign minister visits Kyiv in a show of solidarity with Ukraine.
