32k people in Indiana still without power after 11 days
Roughly 32,000 people in Indiana are still without power, 11 days after severe storms swept through the state. More than half of those people live in the city of Gary, where Black residents make up over 84% of the population.
According to the region's electrical utility provider, NIPSCO, residents will have to wait until August 25 for power to be restored.
