NPP Flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has praised former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, describing her as a “woman king” for standing firm and helping ensure a peaceful and successful funeral for the late founder of Kristo Asafo Mission and Kantanka Group, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
Dr Bawumia made the comments when Adwoa Safo and her family visited his residence to thank him for attending the funeral.
He acknowledged the tensions surrounding the funeral, including the family feud and legal battle, but commended the family for holding together and ensuring that the disagreements did not disrupt the final rites.
Dr Bawumia also recalled witnessing a rainbow during the thanksgiving service, which he interpreted as a positive sign.
