Agbodza: Two Quantity Surveyors Face Possible EOCO Probe Over Compensation Claims

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, says government is considering reporting two quantity surveyors to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) over alleged attempts to inflate compensation claims for properties affected by road projects.

According to the Minister, the activities of some surveyors are contributing to delays in road projects and increases in compensation demands.

Mr Agbodza says government is concerned about the impact of inflated claims on the cost and timely delivery of road infrastructure projects.

The possible EOCO referral forms part of efforts to strengthen oversight of compensation processes and protect public funds allocated to road projects.
