FIFA Hits Argentina With Major Suspensions and $321,000 Fine

FIFA has handed multiple-game suspensions to Argentina players Leandro Paredes and Nahuel Molina following their involvement in the confrontation after the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.
Paredes has been suspended for 10 matches, while Molina received a seven-match ban.
The Argentina Football Association has also been fined $321,000 following an incident involving a politically themed banner displayed after Argentina's World Cup semi-final victory over England.
