The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has encouraged Ghanaians to explore opportunities in Ghana's emerging medicinal cannabis industry.
She argued that dealing in cannabis for the manufacture of medicines can contribute to healthcare and create opportunities for businesses to make money.
“Dealing in Cannabis is Christian because this one is going to be used for the manufacture of medicine. We all want healing and so I encourage people to enter into this business and make all the money.”
Her comments highlight the government's interest in developing cannabis-related economic opportunities, particularly in areas connected to medicinal production and agribusiness.
