Former Works and Housing Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says President John Dramani Mahama's optimism about completing the Saglemi Housing Project highlights the importance of private-sector participation in government projects.
President Mahama, during an inspection of the project, announced that the first 700 houses are expected to be ready for use next year.
Reacting to the development, Mr Oppong Nkrumah argued that the Saglemi project demonstrates the importance of private-sector involvement and criticised what he described as the NDC's earlier opposition to such partnerships.
