GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi has hit back at Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin over claims that the Ghana Gold Board has incurred losses of about GH¢22 billion.

Mr Gyamfi accused the Minority Leader of repeatedly making what he described as false claims across multiple platforms, arguing that repetition does not make an allegation factual.

The comments come amid an ongoing political dispute over losses linked to the Bank of Ghana's Domestic Gold Purchase Programme and GoldBod's operations.
