Work Resumes on Stalled Bosomtwe Lake Road After Years of Complaints

Work has resumed on the stalled Lake Road in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region following persistent appeals for the project to continue.
Construction had stalled at the Abidjan-Nkwanta section after the rehabilitation of the Ahinsan to Aputougya stretch was completed, leaving motorists to navigate difficult and unfinished sections.
The road serves communities and a major tourist destination in the Ashanti Region, with drivers raising concerns over the poor condition of the abandoned sections.
Bosomtwe MP Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, who monitored progress on the projects, said efforts are being made with the government to ensure their continuation and completion.
