Ghana Plans to Export Electricity to Nigeria — Jinapor

Energy and Green Transition Minister John Abdulai Jinapor says Ghana is working to begin exporting electricity to Nigeria as part of efforts to position the country as an energy hub in West Africa.
He said Ghana already exports power to Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo and Côte d'Ivoire, with plans to expand its electricity export market.
The Minister says the move forms part of Ghana's broader strategy to strengthen its energy sector and deepen regional energy cooperation.
