‘Pretty EMBARRASSING’: Columnist reacts to Darline Graham’s debate blunder

Darline Graham, R-SC, who is running to hold onto her Senate seat in South Carolina, stumbled when asked whether Taiwan and the South China Sea are national security issues. Graham responded by telling the moderator: “I'm not that informed on national security.” Columnist Eugene Robinson calls the moment “pretty embarrassing" for Graham, who was appointed to the seat following the death of her brother Sen. Lindsey Graham. But, Robinson predicts, foreign policy won't define the South Carolina senate election.
