Education Minister: Classrooms Alone Cannot Define Educational Success

Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has called for greater priority to be given to foundational learning, stressing that educational success should be measured by what children actually learn rather than simply the infrastructure available to them.

The Minister says Ghana's education system must place stronger emphasis on learning outcomes and ensure that children acquire the essential skills they need from the earliest stages of their education.

His comments come amid ongoing discussions about improving Ghana's basic education system and addressing challenges facing schools and pupils.
