Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu has described as unacceptable the situation where about 10,700 public basic schools across 13 regions have no classrooms, affecting an estimated three million pupils.
The Minister says government is working to improve learning conditions and address the infrastructure challenges facing the affected schools.
The revelation highlights the scale of Ghana's basic education infrastructure deficit and the urgent need for additional classrooms to provide pupils with safe and conducive learning environments.
