Duolingo restores 300-day streak to boy who was unexpectedly hospitalized

A young boy recently lost his 300 day Duolingo streak after being unexpectedly hospitalized. While he was recovering, his mother reached out to the language learning platform to ask if his streak could be restored. Duolingo not only it restored it but added a new feature that will help protect his streak in the future.
